What do you enjoy doing?
What brings you that feeling of joy and excitement?
What does it mean to be happy?
When is the last time you thought of these questions and answered them?
Maybe you have been feeling too caught up in the “busy”-ness of life: taking care of work and other people? Maybe you feel like you have been on autopilot?
Lately I have been focusing on the good-vibe feels. That kind of high energetic, hopping around, brimming smiles kind of feels. That kind of heavy contentment, eyes wide open and sparkling kind of feels. The chuckles to the belly laughs kind of feels. The joyous cries and heartfelt shout-outs kind of feels.
Children are masters of this. They don’t question what makes them feel good, nor do they pause when they entertain themselves or find connection with those around them. It’s easy for them to engage in bliss-making, in all the ways.
When is the last time you sincerely answered:
What am I doing that makes me lose track of time because it is so enjoyable?
Who am I with? Or, am I alone when this happens?
And I mean, HONESTLY answered that question? What did you write down?
How will you be adding what makes you happy into your life?
